THE DISTILLATION METHOD

It might seem paradoxical, but the key to disruptive growth is, in fact, to distill - the Problem, the Insight, the Solution.   Every process is configured based on project needs but the following represents a typical overview.  Each stage features a Distillation session, led by our expert facilitator and includes your team, along with a bespoke team of experts.

First Distillation

Define The Problem

First, and most importantly, we define the problem (because often times it is not what we think it is).  What is making us stuck?  What is standing in the way of success? What assumptions can we challenge?  And why?  We boil the problem down to a statement and this sets the course for everything that follows.

Second Distillation

Discover the Insight

Then we create a customized plan, using a combination of in-house and preferred partners, to gather intel on our category, consumer, customer and brand.  Ultimately, we distill all the information at our disposal into a series of pivotal insights (we call these Revelation Moments).   These will inspire the solutions that follow.

Third Distillation

Design the Solution

Then we define the strategy.  This may cover brand, go-to-market, content or innovation, depending on need.  But when it comes to the deliverable, the key is distillation because a strategy is only powerful if it culminates in a sentence your Aunt Becky can understand at the next reunion or that your nephew can tweet with room to spare.
